Can I Get Approved for a Debt Consolidation Loan?

What I really need to know is whether or not I can apply for one of those loans to help me out with my bills? Another thing I need to know is whether or not I would  have a chance of being approved for a debt consolidation loan. I would like to speak to some people who would be willing to share their experiences on this topic with me. I have a lot of questions. I am just afraid to apply for something that I have no chance of being approved for. Any information that would be helpful would be appreciated.
