What type of salaries can you expect if you acquire a nursing job with the help of Nursing Staffing Agencies? This is hardly a comprehensive estimate, but generally speaking a nurse staffing agency will pay up to USD 20 an hour to a licensed practical nurse while a registered nurse can earn twice that amount: up to USD 50 an hour. Keep in mind also that salaries can vary depending on the hospital; some facilities might offer a higher hourly pay than others. In addition, they may also give extra compensation for shifts worked during holidays, weekends, or at night — the so-called “graveyard shift.”
