What is the right price to buy a used golf club over a new one?

Purchasing used over new will always yield savings. Just look at cars for an example. After its even driven off the lot, you would lose money on it selling it used to someone. With a used product, the condition of it (and potential abuse) may make you think what is the right savings where you definately want to not but new. The answer to this really depends on the buyer of the product and their goals. For golf clubs, if you save even ten dollars, I would just buy new. When you are saving a good percentage like fifty percent then the used golf clubs are a steal.
