How Can I Get My Computer Running Normally Again?

Every time I try to start my computer I get all these virus warnings, and I have the hardest time getting past them. I don’t see how I could have all the sudden gotten all these viruses, although PC Protector is saying I have them. Since I didn’t intentionally install this program I don’t really trust it. Can anyone tell me how to remove PC Protector so I can get my computer running normally again? Does anyone know where I can find detailed instructions on how to do this? It would really help me out a lot since I need to be able to use my computer.
