Slow Computer Problems

Just recently I started using my computer at home for work and I did not think that anything would be wrong with that. What I have noticed though is that my normal protection just does not help for the sites that I am using for work. My computer guy at work thinks that from his registry mechanic reviews that he has read I should probably bring in my computer for him to look at and upgrade my protection so that I can get back to working at full speed and at full protection for my job and for my computer.
